Great family run restaurant. Excellent food & service with a smile!
Disappointed. This restaurant is billed as "Italian " but the menu offered mainly English food with Italian sounding names. My grandsons " Chicken and bacon with mushrooms " showed no sign of the bacon. The chicken was overcooked. My sauted liver was also overcooked. The service was casual . Not a major disaster but the food quality was not what I had anticipated, and certainly not good value at 15.50 per head.
Excellent food every time we visit
I went to Donzella's a couple of weeks ago for a meal with my girlfriend. Everything was great- food was delicious and very competitively priced, the staff were friendly and the service was fast. The portions were generous and I was pleased to hear that all of the food is home-made!A lovely change from the hype over mediocre restaurants with hefty price tags in the city centre. They deserve all of the recognition they are receiving and I am delighted to have discovered them!
